Pyrindine is mainly used for production of pesticides, for example, paraquat and diquat, etc. The company has built its own 2000t/a paraquat production facility which utilizes imported pyridine as its main raw material. A pyridine production facility with a capacity of 10000t/a will solve the raw material supply problem, and will prolong the industry chain, reducing production cost. This project will help develop the downstream pesticide products, and will substitute for the pyridine import, saving a large amount of foreign exchange for the nation.
