Vice Governor Wang Junmin Meets Guests from Malaysia

On July 25, Vice Governor Wang Junmin met with Mr. Qiu Chiyun, General Manager, and Mr. Ke Chenbin, Director of IE, from National Semi-Conductor Corporation of Malaysia. He extended his welcome to the guests and made a brief introduction of Shandong’s economic and social development as well as its related incentives to support the development of chip industry. He expected real progress could be made for the cooperation between National Semi-Conductor Corporation of Malaysia and Lucent Group through this visit, and more mutual exchanges on a higher level and expanded areas.
Mr. Qiu Chiyun extended his thanks for the hospitality of Shandong side. He said, Shandong enjoyed developed economy and sound industrial foundations, there were great potential for the cooperation in semi-conductor areas between Malaysia and Shandong. He was eager to push forward the cooperation between the two sides and achieve a success.
Mr. Liu Xiaojiang, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation, and other leaders attended the meeting.
